AUTO-VOICEYou have seven new messages. New message.
BRIANNEI’m so sorry, Jeremy. I keep replaying it over and over and imagining all the things I could have done differently. If I’d known he was your son… if I’d known it was Chris… I don’t know. I’m just sorry. I’m going to do everything I can to help. No matter what it takes. I hope you know that. You aren’t in this alone. You have me, you have R– my father… you have all of us. Malcolm won’t get away with this. I’ll try to stop by, uh, after my shift. Or… soon. Take care of yourself, Jeremy.

ANDERSONHey Jeremy… I’m just checking in on you. I know you’re going through a lot right now and I just want to let you know that I’m doing everything I can to find him. We will find him. I just spoke with Ron and he said he has a contact who, well, might have a promising lead. I can give you more details on that when we actually talk. [PAUSE]
Look… I know it’s easy to sink into a… well, a negative spiral. In fact, it’s hard not to. I’m not sure I wouldn’t if I were… my point is that you can’t give in. You may as well be letting Malcolm win and–worse–giving up on your boy. And I know you won’t. So… just hang in there, Jeremy. And call me back. Please.

BRIANNEJeremy, I stopped by your place. I spoke to your wife, she said you weren’t there, that you were doing something with the papers. [BEAT]
You can’t shut everyone out if we’re going to find him. Your wife is missing her son. You need to be there for her, and you need to let us help you. [BEAT]
I can’t imagine what you’re going through. I know it’s… incredibly difficult. But there are people who care about you, who need you, and who you need, too. So… call me, I guess. And go home, Jeremy.

ANDERSONJeremy, thanks for calling me back. Sorry I missed you, I was actually in a meeting with, well, with a few different law enforcement agencies. We’re all working together on this one. There’s nowhere Malcolm can go where we won’t find him. We got this one, Jeremy. I’ll keep an eye out for your call.

GARRETTHello, this is a message for Jeremy. This is Doctor Garrett from San Diego Medical Center. I just wanted to follow up from your appointment since we have some test results back for you. Give us a call back as soon as you can.

BRIANNEI think I’m onto something, Jeremy. What we talked about on our last call… I’m feeling good about it. I’ll know more when I hear back from Joseph. But this could actually make a difference. I’ll stop by after work and we can talk about what to do next.

MALCOLMHello, Jeremy. I hope you’ve been sleeping well. Getting plenty of quality time in with your Monitor and such. Last time I saw you, you looked so… well, I don’t want to sound insulting. Perhaps if you’ve improved your sleep, you might have some tips I could share with young Christopher. The poor boy seems to be up at all hours. Don’t worry, though, I’m doing everything possible to take such good care of him. He’ll be doing so much better that, should you see him again, you might not even recognize him. A whole new being, one might say. [LAUGHS]
I do wonder why you haven’t dropped by. Perhaps, deep down, you want him gone. Perhaps you know he doesn’t truly belong to you. Certainly not anymore. I hypothesize that this is the primary difference between you and I. A long time ago I made a mistake that cost me someone close to me, and I’d do anything to change that. Meanwhile, you lose your son and… well, the situation really speaks for itself, doesn’t it? [BEAT]
I suppose I’ll go now. It’s a bit disappointing you wouldn’t even take my call. Don’t worry, I won’t take that rejection out on young Christopher. In fact, I’m off to get him a little drink. The boy is ever so thirsty. [LAUGHS]
